Abstract:
The Transportation and Civil Engineer Careers Center Program, an outreach program developed by the American Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials, has been jointly sponsored in Pennsylvania by The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation and the Mid-Atlantic Universities Transportation Center at the Pennsylvania Transportation Institute, The Pennsylvania State University, since the 1992/93 academic year. TRAC’s primary goal is to increase the number of students pursuing careers in engineering and transportation-related fields.This report covers the period from March 26, 2001, through December 31, 2002. Nine new schools joined the TRAC Program during this period, bringing the total number of schools to 43.
